Meet the Team
Sarah Symonds | Lead Tutor
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Art Honours Degree in Surface Pattern Design along with a Master of Arts in Textile and Fashion Design. Combining both her love of print and material, Sarah specialised her studies in screen printing and garment construction. This naturally lead to working in the fashion industry for many years, starting off as a garment technologist through to designing knitwear, ladies jersey-wear, maternity collections and print.
Sarah's heart has always belonged to the skill of making and her passion to share such skills. Her understanding of the printmaking process and the endless possibilities this practice holds, underpins the ethos of her teaching.
